Quick answer: the cheapest good Halloween parties in Toronto for 2026 are Halloween on Church, which is free, and the Halloween Special at Mooi Space in the Junction, where the entry-before-11 PM ticket is $20. Both run on Friday, October 30. Most other headliner-led Halloween nights in the city start around $38 and go past $100.

Free: Halloween on Church
Billed as Canada's biggest Halloween party, it runs 5 PM to midnight on Friday and Saturday in the Church-Wellesley Village. Friday has the Witches' Brew Beer Garden and a main stage show; on Saturday, Church St is closed from Carlton to Gloucester for a street party with drag performances and tribute acts. More than 80,000 people came last year. It's the best free costume-watching in the city, and it ends at midnight, which leaves time for something else.
$20: the Halloween Special
For $20 you get into a two-room house music event in a decorated warehouse: UK producer Iglesias with a hybrid live set, Toronto's Nathan Barato, and Kiinjo's vinyl room. The catch is timing. The $20 tier is for entry before 11 PM, and the Early Bird $20 and Tier 1 $25 tickets had sold out as of October 15. Tier 2 is $30, and Tier 3 goes to $50 once Tier 2 is gone.
Keeping the rest of the night cheap
- Buy early. Tiers only move up. At the Halloween Special, waiting turned a $20 ticket into $30 and will turn it into $50.
- Arrive before 11. It's the cheapest tier, and you'll catch the openers.
- Take the TTC there. Dundas West station on Line 2 is about 15 minutes' walk from Mooi Space, and you can tap a PRESTO card or a credit card. Our Mooi Space transit guide has every route.
- Split the ride home. At 3 AM the subway is closed. A shared car from the Junction to downtown costs a lot less split three or four ways than alone.
- Thrift the costume. Toronto's thrift and vintage shops on Queen West and in Kensington Market are a cheaper start than a packaged costume. See our costume guide for ideas that work on a dance floor.
A two-night weekend for about $20
Friday: Halloween on Church from 7 PM for the costumes, then Line 2 west to the Halloween Special before 11 PM for the $20 entry. Saturday: back to Church Street for the street party, which costs nothing.
