Quick answer: Iglesias, the UK tech house producer, plays Toronto on Friday, October 30, 2026. He headlines Room 1 of the Halloween Special at Mooi Space, 75 Pelham Ave in the Junction, with a hybrid live set alongside Nathan Barato. Doors are at 10 PM, it's 19+, and tickets start at $20.
Who is Iglesias?
Iglesias is a UK tech house artist known for percussion-led grooves: rolling drums with classic disco touches. His catalogue has millions of Spotify streams, multiple Beatport #1s and regular spots in the Beatport Top 100. He has released on Hottrax, Solid Grooves, Elrow, Mindshake, Moon Harbour and Of Unsound Mind, and has around 129,000 monthly Spotify listeners and 44,000 Instagram followers (approximate figures from the event's sponsor materials).
What is a hybrid live set?
A hybrid live set mixes DJing with live elements, typically parts of the artist's own tracks played and arranged in real time alongside records. For Iglesias it means his own drum-heavy productions get rebuilt on the night rather than played as finished files.

Nathan Barato
Barato shares the Room 1 headline. He's a Toronto-born DJ and producer who has been part of the city's underground for more than 15 years, with releases on Hot Creations, Hottrax, Defected, Rekids, Saved Records, Relief and Elrow Music. With Carlo Lio he runs RAWthentic, a Toronto-born label for stripped-back club music. Iglesias and Barato have both released on Hottrax and Elrow, so the pairing makes sense on paper.
Kiinjo and Room 2
Across the building, Kiinjo headlines the 200-capacity vinyl hybrid room. Kiinjo is the house project of Canadian producer Grandtheft, with releases on Higher Ground, Nervous Records and Club Sweat and support from Purple Disco Machine and The Magician. Pepe Calles, Thomas James, Parallell and Chance also play Room 2. Aileen opens Room 1.
