Quick answer: the best thing to do in Toronto for Halloween 2026 is the Halloween Special, a two-room house music party on Friday, October 30 at Mooi Space, 75 Pelham Ave in the Junction. UK headliner Iglesias plays a hybrid live set with Toronto's Nathan Barato, Kiinjo runs a vinyl room, and tickets start at $20. For scares, go to Legends of Horror at Casa Loma or Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland. For free, go to Halloween on Church.
The 10 best things to do in Toronto for Halloween 2026
We ranked them on how much the night feels like Halloween, how good the thing itself is (the music, the haunt, the costumes), and value. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so most of this happens between Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.
1. The Halloween Special by Premier Music Group: Iglesias, Nathan Barato and Kiinjo (best party in the city)
If you do one thing this Halloween, make it this. Premier Music Group is putting on the Halloween Special with No Sleep Club and Secret Society, the first time the three Toronto crews have shared a night, in a 600-capacity studio warehouse that's decorated top to bottom for Halloween.
- When: Friday, October 30, 10 PM to 3 AM
- Where: Mooi Space, 75 Pelham Ave, the Junction (near Dupont and Symington)
- Room 1: Iglesias (UK, hybrid live set) and Nathan Barato, with Aileen
- Room 2: Kiinjo's vinyl hybrid room, with Pepe Calles, Thomas James, Parallell and Chance
- Also: a full bar, a photo booth, a local vendor market, bottle service and a VIP backstage
- Cost: from $20 (entry before 11 PM), backstage $60, 19+
It beats the bigger club nights on price and the street parties on music. Costumes are recommended, and the night is built around three DJs: Iglesias' percussion-heavy tech house, Nathan Barato's 15 years in Toronto's underground, and Kiinjo's disco-flecked vinyl room. Full details are on the Halloween Special event page.
2. Walk Legends of Horror at Casa Loma
Toronto's castle turns into a haunted trail for its tenth Halloween run: about two kilometres through the gardens and the tunnels under the castle, with actors, built sets and projections on the castle walls. It runs nightly from October 2 to October 31 at 1 Austin Terrace (entrance at Davenport and Walmer), with family hours on select dates and later hours on Halloween weekend. Book a time slot ahead, because Halloween weekend sells out.
3. Scream through Halloween Haunt at Canada's Wonderland
The biggest scare event near Toronto: six mazes (Cornstalkers, Dark Ride, Demons of the Deep, Spirit Manor, The Crypt and The Ruins), seven scare zones, night rides and live shows. It runs on select nights from September 25 to November 1 in Vaughan. Entry closes at 10 PM, or 11 PM on Fridays, and you'll want a car or a planned ride for the trip back.
4. Join Halloween on Church (best free party)
Billed as Canada's biggest Halloween street party, it drew more than 80,000 people last year. Friday has the Witches' Brew Beer Garden and a main stage show; on Saturday, Church St closes from Carlton to Gloucester for drag performances and tribute acts. It runs 5 PM to midnight both nights and costs nothing. On Friday it ends early enough to head west to the Halloween Special for the rest of the night.
5. Catch Kettama at History
The Irish DJ plays History, 1663 Queen St E in Leslieville, on October 30 and 31, with shows listed from 8 PM. Expect fast, rave-leaning house with UK garage in the mix. If you go on Friday, see our Kettama after party guide for where to go after.
6. Go big with Kaskade at REBEL
Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, at REBEL, 11 Polson St in the Port Lands. It's the big-room option: melodic house, full production and one of the city's largest clubs. Doors 10 PM, 19+, with tickets listed from about $109.
7. Ozmozis Halloween at Evergreen Brick Works
A trance and techno Halloween party in the old brick factory at 550 Bayview Ave, Saturday from 4 PM to 11 PM. Costumes are encouraged. It's down in the Don Valley, so plan your ride both ways.
8. Take the kids to Boo at the Zoo
The Toronto Zoo runs Boo at the Zoo on October 24, 25 and 31 from 11 AM to 2 PM, with a trick-or-treat Discovery Zone, animal encounters and a Monster Mash dance party. Kids 12 and under in costume get half-price admission with a paying adult.
9. Trick-or-treat at Black Creek Pioneer Village
Halloween in a 19th-century village: trick-or-treating among the heritage buildings, a slime science show, fortune-telling games and lessons in old witchcraft. It runs October 24, 25 and 31 from 11 AM to 4 PM.
10. Spend a free afternoon at the Sankofa Square Spooktacular
Downtown Yonge's free Halloween afternoon at Sankofa Square (the former Yonge-Dundas Square), Saturday, October 31 from noon to 5 PM, with family activities and appearances from the Toronto Ghostbusters.

If you're an adult who wants one great night
Do Friday. Start with costumes on Church Street around 7 PM, take Line 2 west to Dundas West, and walk 15 minutes to Pelham Ave in time for the $20 entry-before-11 PM ticket. Save Saturday for Casa Loma or Halloween Haunt. Clocks fall back at 2 AM on Sunday, November 1, so Halloween night is an hour longer than usual.
For an hour-by-hour plan of both nights, see our Toronto Halloween weekend plan. For more parties, see the full ranking of Toronto Halloween parties.
Before you go
- Book ahead. Casa Loma time slots and the cheaper party ticket tiers sell out first.
- Dress for the weather. Toronto averages a low of about 7°C in October, and late-month nights run colder. Our costume guide covers dressing for a dance floor and a cold walk.
- Plan the ride home. The subway runs until roughly 2 AM. After that it's Blue Night buses or a car. See getting to Mooi Space.
- Bring ID. The club nights and parties on this list are 19+.
